About

During and after completing her university degree, Melanie worked at Penfor Construction and Penner Farm Services in areas of accounting, inventory, and office management. Melanie has also ran two small businesses during her education, College Pro Painters and Deziner Sunglasses. She joined Red River Group as a Candidate Appraiser in October 2009, and completed her Accredited Appraiser Canadian Institute (AACI, P. App) designation with the Appraisal Institute of Canada in 2016.

Areas of Expertise

Melanie specializes in point-in-time appraisals of multifamily, commercial, retail/office, industrial, agricultural, and residential appraisals across southeastern Manitoba, the Interlake, and Central Plains including Winkler, Morden, and Altona. She also specializes in appraising institutional properties such as churches both for market value and insurance replacement cost, along with other special purpose properties including gas stations, bowling alleys, and grocery stores.
